World Water Day 2023: IWA at the UN Water Conference

We are thrilled to announce that the International Water Association will co-host and participate in a wide range of events during the UN Water Conference in New York on 22-24 March 2023.  IWA is engaged with multiple organisations and initiatives to form partnerships and enhance the power of its network of water professionals. IWA and Grundfos will actively participate at the conference with the Youth Action for SDG6 Delegation, delivering impact and advocating for a water wise future with a delegation of 14 young water professionals that have been selected as part of a high-level fellowship.

In addition to this, IWA will be engaged in other activities through its flagship Inclusive Urban Sanitation initiative. The initiative seeks to reshape the global urban sanitation agenda focusing on the need for an accelerated and inclusive approach to expanding safe service coverage – beyond just technology advancements and infrastructural development. Furthermore, IWA will be present through its Climate Smart Utilities initiative, with a virtual event that promotes climate resilient and inclusive sanitation.

Here you can find the list of activities and events where the International Water Association will participate while at the UN Water Conference in New York on 22-24 March. We look forward to seeing you at our events! We invite you to register as places are limited. Together, we can accelerate change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.
